    Number Concept Description
    1 Description of data Participation of government  is defined as an asset in the form of shares and other equity  instruments which represents property rights of government on corporation capital. Data is derived from the annual activity reports of the corporations submitted to the NSI according to the Statistical Act. These corporations are classified in sectors S.11 Non-financial corporations, S.12 Financial corporations and S.2 Rest of the world,  in accordance with the European System of National and Regional Accounts 2010. For  the purposes of these data public enterprises are those, in which the government participation in their capital is at least 50%.

    3 Coverage Under Directive 2011/85 EU Member States should publish annual data on participation of government in the capital of corporations - public and private. Public corporations reclassified in  S.13 General government sector were excluded from the scope of data.
