The data refers to the number of radio operators. In the survey are included indicators for the duration of broadcasted programmes (by origin and function) in hours, radio programmes by language of broadcasting and the revenue and expenditure of radio operators.

Radio broadcasting is a separate part from a program scheme of radio program or catalog established by a provider of radio services for distribution among the population by functions - news, factual/information, topical, entertainment, educational, music and programmes for the country and abroad.

Units of observation are Bulgarian national radio and private radio operators licensed and registered by national origin.

The target populations are all licensed and registered radio operators.

Individual data are not published in accordance with article 25 of the Law on Statistics. The publishing of individual data can be performed only in accordance with article 26 of the same law.
