Bulgarian Trade with EU in the Period January - June 2015 (preliminary data)
In period January - June 2015 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 12.4% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 14.2 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 7.8% and added up to 16.1 Billion BGN.
In June 2015 the exports to the EU increased by 12.9% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and added up to 2.6 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 6.8% and amounted to 2.8 Billion BGN.
Bulgarian Trade with Third Countries in the Period January - July 2015 (preliminary data)
In the period January - July 2015 the Bulgarian exports to third countries increased by 8.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 9.7 Billion BGN while the imports increased by 0.3% and added up to 11.0 Billion BGN.
In the period January - July 2015 the total value of all exported goods (both for third countries and EU) amounted to 26.5 Billion BGN and compared to the corresponding period of 2014 the exports grew by 9.4% while the total value of all imported goods added up to 30.2 Billion BGN and increased by 5.3%.
Foreign Trade of Bulgaria in 2014 - Final Data
In 2014 the exported goods were for 43.2 Billion BGN and compared to 2013 the exports decreased by 0.7%. The imported goods in 2014 were for 51.1 Billion BGN (at CIF prices) or 1.2% more than the previous year.
Activity of Accommodation Establishments in July 2015
In July 2015, 2 998 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed places were functioned in the country. The total number of the rooms in them was 130.0 thousands and the bed-places were 293.2 thousands. In comparison with July 2014 the total number of accommodation establishments (functioned during the period) increased by 2.6% and the bed-places in them - by 1.3%.
The total number of the nights spent in all accommodation establishments registered in July 2015 was 4 856.4 thousands, as compared to July 2014 it remained approximately at the same level. The total revenues from nights spent in July 2015 reached 242.7 million BGN or by 6.5% more compared to July 2014.
Construction Production Indices in July 2015
According to the preliminary data, in July 2015 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 0.3% below the level of the previous month. In July 2015 the working day adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 0.2% in comparison with the same month of 2014.
Turnover Indices in 'Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles' in July 2015
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in July 2015 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ division at constant prices decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous month. The working day adjusted turnover grew by 0.1% as compared to the same month of the previous year.
Industrial Production Indices in July 2015
According to the preliminary data the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted, decreased by 0.7% in July 2015 as compared to June 2015. In July 2015 the working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 3.4% in comparison with the same month of 2014.
Gross Domestic Product, Second Quarter of 2015 (preliminary data)
According to the seasonally adjusted data, the GDP growth rate in the second quarter of 2015 is 2.2% compared with the same quarter of 2014.
Foreign Direct Investments and Expenditure on Acquisition of Tangible Fixed Assets in 2014 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data the foreign direct investments in the non-financial sector as of 31.12.2014 amounted to 21 953 million Euro, which is 5.9% less compared to 2013.
Activity of Financial Enterprises and Associations and Foundations in 2014 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data 57 licensed insurers, 9 pension companies and 28 pension funds managed by them, 246 special investment purpose companies and 9 512 associations and foundations submitted their annual reports for 2014 at the National Statistical Institute.
