Turnover Indices in 'Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles' in April 2015
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in April 2015 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices decreased by 0.2% compared to the previous month.
Industrial Production Indices in April 2015
According to the preliminary data the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted, increased by 0.2% in April 2015 as compared to March 2015. In April 2015 the working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 1.5% in comparison with the same month of 2014.
Gross Domestic Product, First Quarter of 2015 (preliminary data)
According to the seasonally adjusted data, the GDP growth rate in the first quarter of 2015 is 2.0% compared with the same quarter of 2014.
Crimes Concluded with Penalty Inflicted and Persons Convicted in Second Semester of 2014 (preliminary data)
According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute for the second semester of 2014, the trials ended with inflicted penalty cover 12 256 committed crimes.
The number of accused persons was 15 812. The number of persons convicted with penalties come into force amounted to 13 609 as 680 of them were between 14 -17 years that presents 5.0% of the total number of all convicted persons.
Goods and Passengers Carried and Transport Performance by Mode of Transport in the First Quarter of 2015 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data during the first quarter of 2015 in comparison with the same period of 2014 there was a growth in the transported goods (by 13.3%) as well in the transport performance (by 13.6%) from the freight transport.
Compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year the number of transported passengers, as well the transport performance by passenger transport (land, water and urban electrical transport) rose by 2.6% and 4.6%, respectively.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, March 2015
In March 2015 compared to February 2015 an increase of the production of liquefied petroleum gases - by 28.6%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 127.4%, transport diesel - by 86.6%, natural gas - by 12.5% and electricity - by 3.5% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the production of solid fuels by 22.0% is reported.
In March 2015 compared to February 2015 an increase of the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases - by 25.8%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 22.0%, transport diesel - by 4.6% and electricity - by 2.5% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the deliveries of solid fuels - by 22.8% and natural gas - by 6.3% is reported.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, April 2015
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in April 2015 decreased by 0.4% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2014 the domestic prices fell by 0.6%. Total Producer Price Index in April 2015 declined by 0.7% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2014 the prices went down by 0.1%.
Business Conjuncture, May 2015
In May 2015 the total business climate indicator increases by 3.1 percentage points compared to its April level which is due to the improved managers’ opinions in construction, retail trade and service sector.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in April 2015
In April 2015, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 369.6 thousand or by 14.2% above the registered in April 2014. The trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) in April 2015 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 41.8%, followed by the trips with holiday and recreation purposes - 30.3%, and with professional purpose - 27.9%.
In April 2015, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 502.2 thousands or by 3.7% above the level of April 2014. An increase was registered in the trips with other purposes and with professional purpose by 10.8% and 5.3% respectively, while the trips with holiday and recreation purpose decreased by 5.9%.
Regional GDP per capita in the EU in 2013
This News Release is the first on regional GDP based on the ESA 2010 methodology and data transmission programme. All the methodological changes that were implemented at national level as of September 2014 are applied at the regional level as well. The regional GDP release will be accelerated from now on by one year.
In 2013, regional GDP per capita, expressed in terms of purchasing power standards, ranged from 27% of the EU28 average in the French overseas department of Mayotte, to 325% of the average in Inner London in the United Kingdom.
