Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, July 2013 (preliminary data)
In July 2013 compared to June 2013 an increase is reported for the production of solid fuels by 2.6%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 12.5%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 3.8%, transport diesel - by 9.1% and electricity - by 19.0%. No change is reported for the production of and natural gas.
Deliveries of solid fuels in July 2013 compared to June 2013 increase by 5.4%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 22.6%, transport diesel - by 15.0% and electricity - by 6.6%. At the same time a decrease is reported for the deliveries of unleaded motor gasoline by 33.3% and natural gas - by 15.7%.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, July 2013
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in July 2013 remained at the level of the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2012 the domestic prices fell by 1.8%. Total Producer Price Index did not change compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2012 the prices declined by 1.8%.
Activity of Non Financial Enterprises for 2012 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data at the National Statistical Institute 312 458 non-financial enterprises have submitted their annual reports for 2012 and have made 121 923 million Levs of production value, have generated 35 536 million Levs of value have added at factor cost and have employed 1 878 935 persons.
Business Conjuncture, August 2013
In August 2013 the total business climate indicator preserves its level from the previous month. An improvement of the business conjuncture is registered in construction (by 2.4 percentage points), retail trade (by 1.0 percentage point) and service sector (by 6.6 percentage points), while a reduction of the indicator is observed only in industry (by 4.7 percentage points).
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in July 2013
In July 2013 the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 446.0 thousand or by 10.2% above the registered in July 2012. The trips with other purposes (as guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 48.2%, followed by the trips with holiday and recreation purposes - 35.1% and with professional purpose - 16.7%.
In July 2013, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 1 708.3 thousand which was by 1.5% above the level in July 2012. An increase in the visits with holiday and recreation purposes - by 3.3% as well in the professional visits - by 2.3% was registered, while the trips with other purposes decreased by 2.0%.
Goods and Passengers Carried and Transport Performance by Mode of Transport in the Second Quarter of 2013 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data during the second quarter of 2013 in comparison with the same period of 2012 an increase in the transported goods by land and water transport by 10.1% was observed, while the transport performance fell by 16.3%. Compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year the transported passengers by land, water and urban electrical transport were by 6.2% less, while the transport performance measured in pass-km increased by 5.8%.
Tourist Trips and Tourism-related Expenditure of the Population in the Second Quarter of 2013 (preliminary data)
In the second quarter of 2013, 896.8 thousand Bulgarian residents made tourist trips. The majority part (80.6%) of them travelled only in the country, 14.5% - only abroad and 4.9% - both in the country and abroad. Compared to the same quarter of 2012 the total number of the travelled persons aged 15 and over rose by 23.4%, as an increase was observed in the number of the Bulgarian residents travelled in the country - by 25.8% as well as in the number of persons travelled abroad - by 10.8%.
Turnover Indices in Services in the Second Quarter of 2013
According to the preliminary data for the second quarter of 2013 the total turnover index in section “Transportation, storage and post”, calculated on the basis of seasonally adjusted data decreased by 0.3% as compared to the first quarter of 2013. In section „Information and communication” the turnover index grew by 1.6%.
Indices of producer prices and goods and services currently consumed in agriculture, second quarter in 2013
The index of producer prices in agriculture in the second quarter of 2013 increased by 4.1% in comparison with the same quarter of 2012 and it decreased by 0.6% compared to 2012.
The index of prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture in the second quarter of 2013 was 2.0% above the level in the same quarter of 2012 and it is higher with 0.2% compared to 2012.
Household Income, Expenditure and Consumption during the Second Quarter of 2013
The average quarterly total income average per household member during the second quarter of 2013 is 1 168 Levs or by 9.0% more compared to the same quarter of 2012.
The total expenditure per household member during the second quarter of 2013 is 1 059 Levs and it increases by 9.5% in comparison with the same quarter of 2012.
The consumption of main food products average per capita doesn’t change vastly during the second quarter of 2013 compared to the second quarter of 2012.
