Industrial Production Indices in October 2020
According to the preliminary data in October 2020 the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted, increased by 0.2% as compared to September 2020.
In October 2020 the working day adjusted Industrial Production Index fell by 3.9% in comparison with the same month of 2019.
Bulgaria and EU: Gross Domestic Product, third quarter of 2020 (preliminary estimates)
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2020 increased by 11.5% in EU-27 compared to the previous quarter by seasonally adjusted data. For the same period, GDP in Bulgaria increased by 4.3%.
Labor productivity, persons employed and hours worked for the Third Quarter of 2020
According to the preliminary data, GDP per person employed decreased by 1.6% in the third quarter of 2020 compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

According to the seasonally adjusted data, GDP decreased by 5.2% in the third quarter of 2020 compared with the same quarter of 2019.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, September 2020
In September 2020 compared to August 2020 a decrease is reported for the production of solid fuels - by 11.2%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 16.7%, transport diesel - by 7.0%, and electricity - by 6.9%. No change for the production of unleaded motor gasoline and natural gas.
In September 2020 compared to August 2020 an increase is reported for the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases - by 17.5% and natural gas - by 9.6%. A decrease is reported for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 11.7%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 6.0%, transport diesel - by 17.7%, and electricity - by 3.4%.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, October 2020
Total Producer Price Index in October 2020 increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2019 the prices fell by 2.7%. Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in October 2020 increased by 0.4% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2019 the domestic prices went down by 1.5%.
Business Conjuncture, November 2020
In November 2020, the business conjuncture in the country is assessed as unfavourable. The total business climate indicator decreases by 4.1 percentage points compared to its October level, as a reduce of the indicator is registered in construction and retail trade.
Goods and passengers carried and transport performance by mode of transport in the third quarter of 2020 (preliminary data)
According to preliminary data during the third quarter of 2020 in comparison with the same quarter of 2019 the goods carried and the transport performance by the freight land and water transport increased.
In the third quarter of 2020 there was a decrease both in the transported passengers (by 25.9%) and the transport performance (by 44.8%) from the passenger transport (land, water and urban electrical transport) compared to the same period of the previous year.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in October 2020
In October 2020, during the continuing epidemic situation in the country, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 493.1 thousand, or by 4.2% above the registered in October 2019.
In October 2020, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 419.1 thousand or by 45.3% less in comparison with October 2019.
Activity and condition of accommodation establishments during the state of emergency in October 2020
In November 2020, the National Statistical Institute conducted the monthly inquiry survey of the managers of accommodation establishments to gather accurate and timely information on the state and development of their businesses during the ensuing epidemic situation in the country.
