Tourist Trips and Tourism-related Expenditure of the Population in Fourth Quarter of 2014 (preliminary data)
In the fourth quarter of 2014, 791.3 thousand Bulgarian residents made tourist trips. The majority (86.8%) of them travelled only within the country, 9.9% - only abroad and 3.4% - both in the country and abroad. Compared to the same quarter of 2013 the total number of the travelled persons aged 15 and over increased by 15.4%, as an increase was observed in the number of the Bulgarian residents travelled in the country - by 24.1%, while the number of persons travelled abroad decreased by 30.2%.
Main Labour Force Survey Results for the Fourth Quarter of 2014
In the fourth quarter of 2014 the unemployment rate was 10.6%, and the employment rate of population aged 15 - 64 was 61.4%.
Household Income, Expenditure and Consumption during the Fourth Quarter of 2014
The total income average per household member during the fourth quarter of 2014 is 1 227 BGN and remains the same compared to the fourth quarter of 2013.
The total expenditure per household member during the fourth quarter of 2014 is 1 171 BGN and increases by 3.1% in comparison with the same quarter of 2013.

According to the preliminary data of the NSI, the consumer price index in January 2015 compared to December 2014 was 99.6%, i.e. the monthly inflation was -0.4%.
Employees under Labour Contract and Gross Average Wages and Salaries, Fourth Quarter of 2014
According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI) at the end of December 2014 the number of employees under labour contract decreased by 2.1% as compared to the end of September 2014 and reached 2.20 millions.
In the fourth quarter of 2014 in comparison with the third quarter of 2014 the average monthly wages and salaries increased by 4.7% getting 847 BGN.
Indices of producer prices and goods and services currently consumed in agriculture, fourth quarter in 2014
The producer price index in agriculture in the fourth quarter of 2014 decreased by 0.8% in comparison with the same quarter of 2013 and with by 6.4% compared to 2013.
The index of prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture in the fourth quarter of 2014 was 4.0% below the level in the same quarter of 2013 and with 4.9% compared to 2013.
Newly Built Residential Buildings and Dwellings Completed in the Fourth Quarter of 2014 (preliminary data)
According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute in the fourth quarter of 2014 the number of newly built residential buildings was 698. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2013 they were by 116 more (or by 19.9%) while the newly built dwellings in them were 5.4% less.
Activity of Accommodation Establishments in December 2014
In December 2014, 2 016 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed places were functioned in the country. The total number of the rooms in them was 58.0 thousands and the bed-places were 116.3 thousands. In comparison with December 2013 the total number of accommodation establishments (functioned during the period) increased by 7.1% and the bed-places in them - by 5.9%.
The total number of the nights spent in all accommodation establishments registered in December 2014 was 723.8 thousands or by 6.2% more in comparison with the same month of the previous year. The total revenues from nights spent in December 2014 reached 35.2 million BGN or by 7.1% more compared to December 2013.
Bulgarian Trade with EU for the Period January - November 2014 (preliminary data)
In the period January - November 2014 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 2.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to 24.9 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 3.5% and added up to 28.6 Billion BGN.
In November 2014 the exports to the EU decreased by 0.4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and amounted to 2.4 Billion BGN while the imports increased by 5.7% and added up to 2.8 Billion BGN.
