During the period 2014 - 2016 27.2% of the enterprises carried out an innovation activity.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, April 2018
In April 2018 compared to March 2018 an insignificant increase is observed in the production of petroleum products, which is due to continuing planned repair of production capacities during this period. At the same time a decrease is reported for the production of solid fuels - by 36.1% and electricity - by 25.6%.
In April 2018 compared to March 2018 an increase is reported for the deliveries of unleaded motor gasoline by 2.4%. At the same time a decrease is reported for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 35.5%, liquefied petroleum gases - by 4.7%, natural gas - by 39.6% and electricity - by 27.6%. No change for the deliveries of transport diesel.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, May 2018
Total Producer Price Index in May 2018 increases with 1.4% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2017 the prices rose by 5.7%. Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in May 2018 increased by 0.5% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2017 the domestic prices grew by 4.8%.
Business Conjuncture, June 2018
In June 2018, the total business climate indicator decreases by 0.9 percentage points in comparison with the previous month as a result of the unfavourable business climate in construction and service sector.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in May 2018
In May 2018, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 728.9 thousand or by 11.6% above the registered in May 2017. The trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) in May 2018 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 38.6%, followed by the trips with holiday and recreation purpose - 34.3%, and with professional purpose - 27.1%.
In May 2018, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 938.6 thousand or by 8.4% more in comparison with May 2017. In May 2018, the predominant share of the visits with other purposes was 41.4%, followed by trips with holiday and recreation purpose - 39.0%, and with professional purpose - 19.6%.

Preliminary data of the NSI for the first quarter of 2018 indicate that the total hourly labour cost rose by 6.8% compared to the first quarter of 2017.

In-patient, Out-patient and Other Health Care Establishments as of 31.12.2017
The number of health establishments for hospital aid as of 31.12.2017 was 346 with 52 744 beds. 322 of them were hospitals with 50 519 beds.
The number of out-patient health establishments was 2 043 with 1 263 beds and other health establishments were 144 with 2 179 beds in them.
At the end of 2017 30 078 physicians were in practice under the basic labour contracts in health establishments. Dentists were 8 355, as 7 456 worked in practices that had signed contract with National Health Insurance Fund. Medical specialists on ‘Health cares’ who worked on a basic labour contract in health establishments were 46 702. 30 955 of them were nurses and 3 207 - midwives.
