Bulgarian Trade with EU for the Period January - April 2015 (preliminary data)
In the period January - April 2015 the Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 12.3% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 9.3 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 7.6% and added up to 10.7 Billion BGN.
In April 2015 the exports to the EU increased by 13.2% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year and added up to 2.4 Billion BGN while the imports grew by 8.8% and amounted to 2.9 Billion BGN.
Construction Production Indices in May 2015
According to the preliminary data, in May 2015 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data was 3.3% below the level of the previous month. In May 2015 the working day adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 7.0% in comparison with the same month of 2014.
Turnover Indices in 'Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles' in May 2015
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in May 2015 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices increased by 0.2% compared to the previous month.
Industrial Production Indices in May 2015
According to the preliminary data the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted, increased by 0.4% in May 2015 as compared to April 2015. In May 2015 the working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 3.9% in comparison with the same month of 2014.

In 2014, the government budget appropriations or outlays on R&D amounted to 206.6 million BGN and increased by 3.1% compared to 2013.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, April 2015
In April 2015 compared to March 2015 an increase of the production of solid fuels by 17.4% and transport diesel - by 3.9% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the production of liquefied petroleum gases - by 11.1%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 3.6%, natural gas - by 11.1% and electricity - by 12.7% is reported.
In April 2015 compared to March 2015 an increase of the deliveries of solid fuels - by 15.7% is reported. At the same time a decrease of the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases - by 12.8%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 42.0%, transport diesel - by 0.6%, natural gas - by 17.8% and electricity - by 18.0% is reported.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, May 2015
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in May 2015 increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2014 the domestic prices fell by 0.4%. Total Producer Price Index in May 2015 rose by 0.7% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2014 the prices went up by 0.3%.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in May 2015
In May 2015, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 483.7 thousand or by 13.1% above the registered in May 2014.The trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) in May 2015 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 40.3%, followed by the trips with holiday and recreation purposes - 34.6%, and with professional purpose - 25.1%.
In May 2015, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 714.7 thousand or by 4.0% above the level of May 2014. An increase was registered in the trips with professional purpose and with other purposes by 27.7% and 12.2% respectively, while the trips with holiday and recreation purpose decreased by 11.3%.
Business Conjuncture, June 2015
In June 2015 the total business climate indicator decreases by 0.7 percentage points compared to its May level due to the more unfavourable business climate in retail trade and service sector.
