Producer Price Indices in Industry, August 2012
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in August 2012 increased by 1.4% compared to the previous month, while compared to the same month of 2011 the domestic prices grew by 7.1%. Total Producer Price Index rose by 1.5% compared to the previous month, compared to the same month of 2011 the prices went up by 6.1%.
Poverty and Social Inclusion Indicators (Preliminary results for 2010)
Poverty and social inclusion indicators are part of the general EU indicators for tracing the progress in the field of poverty and social exclusion. Main source of statistical data, on which basis the general indicators are calculated is the annually conducted Survey on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC).
NSI presents preliminary results for 2010 based on the conducted in 2011 SILC.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in August 2012
In August 2012 the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 412.9 thousand or by 2.1% more than in July 2012 and by 3.8% above the registered in August 2011.
Participation of the Population Aged 25 - 64 in Lifelong Learning (Analysis of the Main Results of the Adult Education Survey 2011)
Adult Education Survey covers broad range of topics, connected to the education and training of adults, like participation in different forms of Lifelong Learning (formal, non-formal and informal), reasons for non-participation, access to information on possibilities for education and training, use of computers, language skills, participation in cultural and social events.
Quarterly Labour Cost Index, Second Quarter of 2012
Preliminary data of NSI for the Second Quarter of 2012 indicated that total hourly labour cost rose by 4.8% compared to the Second Quarter of 2011.
Inflation and Consumer Price Indices in August 2012
The consumer price index in August 2012 compared to July 2012 was 100.5%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.5%. The inflation rate since the beginning of the year (August 2012 compared to December 2011) had been 2.6%.
The harmonized index of consumer prices in August 2012 compared to July 2012 was 100.6%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.6%. The inflation rate since the beginning of the year (August 2012 compared to December 2011) had been 2.4%.
Construction Production Indices in July 2012
According to the preliminary data of the NSI, in July 2012 the index of production in section ‘Construction’, calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data, was 1.5% above the level of the previous month.
Industrial Production Indices in July 2012
The preliminary data showed that the Industrial Production Index seasonally adjusted increased by 0.4% in July 2012 as compared to June 2012. The working day adjusted Industrial Production Index rose by 0.4% in comparison with the same month of 2011.
Activity of Accommodation Establishments in July 2012
In July 2012, 2 517 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed places were functioned in the country.
Foreign Trade of Bulgaria for 2011 - Final Data
In 2011 the exported goods were for 39.6 Billion Levs and compared to 2010 the export increased by 30.2%.
The imported goods for 2011 were for 45.8 Billion Levs (at CIF prices) or 21.6% more than in 2010.
