Submitting Papers
In order to harmonize all types of contributions for further processing and dissemination we have prepared general guidelines and instructions for the authors. We would like to ask you to follow these instructions.
General guidelines for all types of contributions:
- The official language of the conference is English; all contributions should be written and presented in English.
- The deadline for submitting final papers, posters and presentations is 11th of October 2013.
- All contributions should be sent to the email address [email protected].
Specific guidelines for different types of contributions:
1. Paper
- Authors are requested to use the official conference template for papers.
- Extent of the paper should be between 2 and 8 pages with the use of 10 pts. Arial font and 1.3 line spacing.
- Recommended structure: Title – Authors and Institutions – Abstract – Keywords – Introduction – Main text – Conclusion – Acknowledgements – References.
- Final papers should be saved in DOC (Word 97-2003) or DOCX (Word 2007/2010) format.

2. Poster
- Required paper size A1 (594 x 841 mm).
- Posters should be delivered to the EFGS 2012 Organising Committee both in electronic and printed form.
- Electronic version of the final poster should be sent in PDF format.
- Printed posters should be delivered during the personal registration on the first conference day and will be exhibited in the conference room during the whole conference.
3. Presentation
- Length of presentation is limited to 15 minutes. After each presentation will be 5 minutes for discussion.
- Final presentations should be sent in PPT (PowerPoint 97-2003) or PPTX (PowerPoint 2007/2010) format.
- The presenters are asked to bring a flash disk or a CD/DVD with their presentation in case of any additional changes.
