Construction Production Indices in May 2016
According to the preliminary data, in May 2016 the index of production in section ‘Construction’ calculated on the base of seasonally adjusted data kept the level of the previous month. In May 2016 the working day adjusted index of production in construction decreased by 8.1% in comparison with the same month of 2015.
Turnover Indices in 'Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles' in May 2016
According to the preliminary seasonally adjusted data in May 2016 the turnover in ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices increased by 0.2% compared to the previous month.
Industrial Production Indices in May 2016
According to the preliminary data the Industrial Production Index, seasonally adjusted, decreased by 2.0% in May 2016 as compared to April 2016. In May 2016 the working day adjusted Industrial Production Index fell by 3.3% in comparison with the same month of 2015.

During the period 2012 - 2014 26.1% of the enterprises carried out an innovation activity.
Producer Price Indices in Industry, May 2016
Total Producer Price Index in May 2016 increased by 0.2% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2015 the prices went down by 5.6%. Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in May 2016 declined by 0.1% compared to the previous month; compared to the same month of 2015 the domestic prices fell by 4.5%.
Government Budget Allocations for R&D (GBARD), 2015
In 2015, the government budget allocations for R&D amounted to 212.5 million BGN and increased by 2.8% compared to 2014.
Production and Deliveries of Energy Products, April 2016
In April 2016 compared to March 2016 an increase is reported for the production of solid fuels - by 7.2%. At the same time a decrease is reported for the production of electricity - by 17.4%. No change is reported for the production of natural gas. Production of petroleum products has been restored to its usual level after planned repair of production capacities done in March 2016.
In April 2016 compared to March 2016 an increase is reported for the deliveries of solid fuels - by 6.3%, unleaded motor gasoline - by 33.3%, and transport diesel - by 7.2%. At the same time a decrease is reported for the deliveries of natural gas - by 22.0%, and electricity - by 19.0%. No change is reported for the deliveries of liquefied petroleum gases.
Business Conjuncture, June 2016
In June 2016 the total business climate indicator increases by 0.9 percentage points compared to May as a result of the improved business climate in industry, retail trade and service sector.
Trips of Bulgarian Residents Abroad and Arrivals of Visitors from Abroad to Bulgaria in May 2016
In May 2016, the number of the trips of Bulgarian residents abroad was 564.8 thousand or by 16.8% above the registered in May 2015. The trips with other purposes (as a guest, education and visit the cultural and sport events) in May 2016 composed the greatest share of the total number of trips of Bulgarian residents abroad - 43.8%, followed by the trips with holiday and recreation purpose - 32.0%, and with professional purpose - 24.2%.
In May 2016, the number of arrivals of visitors from abroad to Bulgaria was 808.3 thousand or by 13.1% above the level of May 2015. An increase was registered in the trips with other purposes - by 21.7%, and with holiday and recreation purpose - by 11.8%, while the trips with professional purpose decreased by 5.3%.
