The National Statistical Institute presents the publication ‘Transport 2008’, which is issued every five years. For the first time the publication is bilingual (Bulgarian/English).

 

The National Statistical Institute presents the annual publication ‘Tourism 2009’ to users with an interest in statistical information in the field of tourism (in a printed version and on a CD). The publication is bilingual (Bulgarian/English) and contains statistical data on the development of tourism in Bulgaria. Basic statistical data for the years 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000 and the period 2007 – 2009 are included, along with methodological notes.

 

The data are classified into five sections:

The annual bilingual publication ‘Energy Balance Sheets 2008’ contains the data for 2003 - 2008 on energy statistics obtained from the current surveys of the National Statistical Institute.

The National Statistical Institute presents to the users of statistical information the second recently published issue of a quarterly bilingual (Bulgarian/English) publication Main Short-Term Indicators. The publication is available as a printed edition and electronic version on CD-ROM.

The publication contains up-to-date information concerning the situation and the development of the material sphere in short-term aspect by branches: industry, construction, trade, transport and other services as well as tourism, labour market and investment.

The National Statistical Institute presents to the users of statistical information annual electronic (on CD-ROM) publication Foreign Trade of the Republic of Bulgaria 2009. The publication contains information on exports and imports from/to Bulgaria for 2008.
