Project ‘Improving Quality of Labour Force Survey’

The National Statistical Institute started a project ‘Improving Quality of Labour Force Survey’. Contract № 07131.2017.003-2017.590 with the European Commission.

The project aims at improving the quality of LFS and assessing effect on data due to upcoming methodological changes in survey in line with Integrated European Social Statistics - IESS FR.

The duration of the project is 24 months with deadline September 2019.

The National Statistical Institute (NSI) is a state institution in Bulgaria that collects, processes and disseminates official statistical information on social, economic and demographic processes in the country. The NSI's activities are aimed at providing objective and reliable data that support informed decision-making by the state, business and society. The Institute works in accordance with international statistical standards and is an active participant in the European Statistical System.
