Project ‘Euromod input data and regionalisation’

National statistical institute has started work on ‘Euromod input data and regionalisation’ project according to Grant Agreement with European Commission No. 882188 - 2019-BG-SILC EM REG.

The main objectives of the action are:

Analyzing Euromod requirements and creation of matching table between EU-SILC survey and Euromod input data sets.
Adapt NSI data extraction and variables creation scripts to be able to provide more disaggregated variables according to Euromod requirements.
Improving the sample design to meet precision requirements of Eurostat.

The duration of the project is 20 months ending on June 2021.

The National Statistical Institute (NSI) is a state institution in Bulgaria that collects, processes and disseminates official statistical information on social, economic and demographic processes in the country. The NSI's activities are aimed at providing objective and reliable data that support informed decision-making by the state, business and society. The Institute works in accordance with international statistical standards and is an active participant in the European Statistical System.
