Grant Agreement ‘Statistics on the usage of Information and Communication Technologies 2019, Enterprises’

The National Statistical Institute has started work on a project ‘Statistics on the usage of Information and Communication Technologies 2019, Enterprises’ according to a Grant agreement with the European Commission No. 831517-2018-BG-ICT ENT.

The general objective of the project is to collect reliable and internationally comparable information on the availability and usage of information and communication technologies in enterprises in 2019. In the framework of the project, a statistical survey covering the following topics will be conducted:

Use of computers;
ICT specialists and skills;
Access and use of the internet;
Sharing of information electronically within the enterprise;
ICT security;
E-commerce.

The project duration is 12 months and it will be completed at the end of December 2019.

The National Statistical Institute (NSI) is a state institution in Bulgaria that collects, processes and disseminates official statistical information on social, economic and demographic processes in the country. The NSI's activities are aimed at providing objective and reliable data that support informed decision-making by the state, business and society. The Institute works in accordance with international statistical standards and is an active participant in the European Statistical System.
