Sports tournament at the NSI

Between 7 and 9 September 2017 a sports tournament was held for the staff members of the National Statistical Institute at the NSI Training Centre in the village of Slivek.

Over the course of three days more than 60 participants competed in 10 disciplines:

Table tennis
Tennis
Jitball
Streetball
Chess
Backgammon
Darts
Archery
Bicycle competition
Sport fishing

According to the rules, the participants had to choose a minimum of two and a maximum of four disciplines to compete in. The darts competition saw the greatest interest with 33 competitors, while sport fishing was chosen by the fewest participants with only 6 players. However, all fishers came back with a catch.

The most popular sports among the competitors were archery, table tennis, streetball, bicycle competition, and chess.

The winners in each discipline were given medals and cups, and all participants in the tournament received a certificate.
