NSI started work on the project ‘Improvement of the methods for compilation of EPE in order to comply with the requirements of new module on EPE in the Regulation amending Regulation (EU) No 691/2011’

According the implementation of the contract of NSI with the EC in 2015 began work on the project ‘Improvement of the methods for compilation of EPE in order to comply with the requirements of new module on EPE in the Regulation amending Regulation (EU) No 691/2011 on European environmental economic accounts’.

The project aims to improve the methodology for assessing the environmental protection expenditure and the development of detailed standard tables in value units containing data on environmental protection expenditure in economic activities.

Methodological developments expected from the project will contribute to solving the problems related to the future reporting to Eurostat under Regulation (EU) No 691/2011 on European environmental economic accounts.

The project will continue 15 months and will be finalized in March 2016.
