Conflict of interest

Authors

The authors and co-authors are required to disclose any potential conflict of interest when submitting their manuscript.

Editors

Editors do not participate in the editorial process and make any editorial decisions if they have any conflict of interest (monetary or otherwise) in relation to a submitted manuscript.

In case of submission of an article by the editors into their journal, a colleague from the editorial board should manage the manuscript, and the editor/author recuses him/herself from discussing and making decisions about it.

Reviewers

In case of a conflict of interest, reviewers should promptly notify the Editor-in-Chief/Deputy Editor-in-Chief, specifically describing the conflict of interest, due to the peculiarity of double-blind peer review.
