‘Statistics’ Journal, issue 1/2026Download

The National Statistical Institute (NSI) informs the users of statistical information that Issue 1 for 2026 of the ‘Statistics’ journal has been published. The publication is in Bulgarian, with summaries in Bulgarian, English and Russian and includes the following sections:

• Development of modern statistical theory and practice

• Statistical research and data analysis

• Business intelligent systems and artificial intelligence

In the ‘Development of Modern Statistical Theory and Practice’ section is presented the article ‘Automation of the forecasting processes in security analysis through ARIMA models’ by Vesselina Popova, Senior expert at ‘Activities for Improvement of the Statistical Literacy, Web Content and Digitalization’ Department, NSI.

The ‘Statistical Research and Data Analysis’ section includes the article ‘Population census in Bulgaria in 1992’ by Sonia Zlatanova, Junior expert at NSI and the article ‘Statistical study of sustainable development – problems and challenges’ by Ventsislava Stoyanova, Chief Assistant Doctor at ‘Statistics and Econometrics’ Department of UNWE.

The ‘Business Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence’ section contains the article Application of generative artificial intelligence in the production of official statistics’ by Daniela Yaneva, State expert at ‘Database Management’ Department, ‘Information Systems and Infrastructure’ Directorate, NSI.
