Population and Demographic Processes 2024

The publication ‘Population and Demographic Processes 2024’ presents detailed statistical information about the demographic state of the Republic of Bulgaria during 2024. Data for the number and structure of the population and its natural movement and internal migration are published. The information about the natural and mechanic movement of the population contains data for marriages, births, deaths, divorces and migration registered during the year. The issue also contains methodological notes and an analysis of the demographic processes in the Republic of Bulgaria. The electronic publication is available in Bulgarian and in English free of charge on the website of NSI.

Statistical Yearbook 1912

... The information is structured in 21 sections. Traditionally, the first section contains data on the geographical position, borders and surface of the Bulgarian Kingdom, rivers, lakes, mountains, distribution by geographical areas, etc. ‘Meteorological data’ refers to atmospheric pressure, temperatures, humidity, precipitation and winds. The annual publications of the Central Meteorological Station in Sofia are used. The demographic statistics section contains data on population movements, marriages, births and deaths. Data from the population and housing census conducted on 31 December 1910 are published. Information on military enlistments is published for 1910.
