The Deputy President of NSI, Svilen Kolev, PhD, was elected as a member of the scientific committee of an international conference New Techniques and Technologies for Statistics (NTTS), which will be held in 2027.

The conference is an international scientific event organized by Eurostat and held every two years in Brussels. The forum is dedicated to innovative methods and technologies in the field of official statistics and addresses topics related to the impact of new techniques, methods, and technologies on the collection, production, and dissemination of statistical data.
