The National Statistical Institute published its yearly digital bulletin of its international activities.

In the 2025 publication, special attention is paid to two key events that were successfully organised and conducted by the NSI:

- High-level Conference titled “EU Enlargement: The role of Comparable and Reliable Official Statistics” which took place in Burgas during September. The event brought together the Directors General of the Statistical Offices of candidate countries and potential candidate and EU member states as well as representatives from Eurostat, to discuss the priority areas where candidate countries need to better align themselves with the European Statistical System.

- Training Course for young statisticians from the Western Balkans under the Bulgarian Development Aid Programme, which took place at the end of October at the NSI’s Training Center in the village of Slivek, close to Lovech.

In addition, the newsletter provides information on the implementation of statistical projects under grant agreements with the European Commission and co-financed by the state budget, cooperation and bilateral relations between NSI and the other national statistical institutes, the activities of the Council Working Party on Statistics (CWPS), etc.

The document is prepared every year by the International Relations and Projects Department of the NSI and is available in both Bulgarian and English. It contains information and photographic material concerning the international events organised by the NSI, as well as about the participation of the NSI Management in various Forums and High-Level Meetings within the framework of the European Statistical System, the UN Statistical System and other international organisations.
