Tourist trips and tourism related expenditure of the population - 2025 - final data

The expenditure on tourist trips of persons aged 15 years and over in 2025 was estimated at 4 469.8 million BGN and increased by 10.5% compared to 2024. The expenditure made in the country amounted to 2 398.0 million BGN, and abroad - to 2 071.8 million BGN.

The expenditure for private trips represented 95.1% (including tourist packages) and increased by 9.2% compared to 2024, while those for professional travel accounted for 4.9% of all expenses and increased by 43.9%.
