Energy consumption in Services (disaggregated data) - 2024

In 2024, compared to 2023, an increase was observed in the energy consumption in the ‘Services’ sector - by 4.37% to 55 268.321 TJ.

Over half of the energy consumption in this sector in 2024 (62.17%) was taken up by just three sub-sections under NACE Rev. 2. Section G - ‘Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles’, consumed 13 239.141 TJ, which is 23.95% from the energy consumption of all services. Section I - ‘Accommodation and food services activities’, represented 19.64% of the total consumption, or 10 854.897 TJ. The aggregated positon of sections K and L - ‘Financial and insurance activities; real estate activities’, followed with energy consumption of 10 268.726 TJ, or 18.58%.
