The largest increase for 'Energy and supply' component (by 7.0%) was registered in band I6 with annual consumption between 70 000 and 150 000 MWh, while for 'Network' component (by 8.6%) - in band I5 with annual consumption between 20 000 and 70 000 MWh.

For household customers, on annual basis, the prices of components 'Energy and supply' and 'Network' also increased for all bands compared to the previous year. The increase for 'Energy and supply' component was by more than 13% in each band while for 'Network' component the largest increase - by 4.2%, was registered in band D1 - the smallest consumers, and band D2 with annual consumption between 1 000 and 2 500 kWh.

Natural gas prices

In the period July - December 2025, the natural gas prices, including all taxes, levies and VAT for non-household customers decreased significantly compared to the period January - July 2025. The largest decrease - by 20.4%, was recorded in band I4 with annual consumption between 100 000 GJ and 1 000 000 GJ.

In the same period, a significant decrease was also observed for the natural gas prices, including all taxes, levies and VAT for all bands of household customers. The largest decrease - by 15.2%, was recorded for the smallest consumers in band D1 with annual consumption up to 20 GJ and the largest consumer band D2 with annual consumption between 20 GJ and 200 GJ.

On annual basis in 2025, compared to the previous year 2024, for all bands of non-household and customers, an increase in the prices of the 'Energy and Supply' component and the 'Network' component was observed, with the highest values being recorded for band I4 with annual consumption between 100 000 GJ and 1 000 000 GJ - 6.5% and 19.7%, respectively.

Data are representative for the country - all suppliers of electricity/natural gas provide data on household and final non-household customers, for the quantities delivered through transmission/distribution network. They are calculated as weighted average prices by the actual delivered quantities of electricity/natural gas and the corresponding invoiced values to final customers, by standard annual consumption bands, for the observed six-month period in the following two directions:

  • By levels of taxation - data are reported twice per year, for the periods January to June and July to December;
  • By components and sub-components - data are collected every semester, but are reported annually as arithmetic average prices.

The information is published pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/1952 on European statistics on natural gas and electricity prices.
