According to the second estimate of Economic Accounts for Agriculture, the final output of the 'Аgricultural industry' at basic prices in 2025 amounted to 10 171.3 million BGN, which was 4.8% more than in the previous year. The increase was due to a rise in prices by 5.5%, while volumes decreased by 0.7% compared to 2024.
The value of means of production currently consumed in agriculture amounted to 5 672.1 million BGN, which was 0.5% lower than the previous year. The decrease was due to a decline in volumes by 1.0%, while prices recorded an increase of 0.5%.
The gross value added at basic prices produced in agriculture was estimated at 4 499.2 million BGN, with an increase of 12.3% compared to the previous year.
The net operating surplus/mixed income amounted to 3 302.0 million BGN and decreased by 1.0% on an annual basis.
According to the second estimate of Economic Accounts for Agriculture for 2024, the net entrepreneurial income in agriculture reached 1 112.7 million BGN, increasing by 20.4% compared to the previous year.
