The final meeting within twining project was held in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

On 30 June -1 July 2014 in Skopje was held the final meeting of participants in  ‘Support to the State Statistical Office for capacity building and improving compliance of statistics with EU standards’ Twinning project, on which partners are the Federal Statistical Office of Germany (DESTATIS) and the State Statistical Office of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The project started in the second half of 2012 and its duration is 24 months. Junior partner is the Statistical Office of Denmark, and experts participate from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and France. The total cost of the project is 1.2 million euros.
 
The National Statistical Institute participates in the implementation of project activities with six experts who realized 11 missions. Participation in this project is a continuation of the good cooperation of the NSI with the statistical offices of Germany, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and others partners in a project.
