Monday, 10 November 2014 - 11:00According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute at the end of September 2014 the number of employees under labour contract has decreased by 2.2% as compared to the end of June 2014 and reached 2.25 millions.In the third quarter of 2014 in comparison with the second quarter of 2014 the average monthly wages and salaries decreased by 1.0% getting 809 BGN.

Preliminary data of the NSI for the second quarter of 2014 indicated that the total hourly labour cost has risen by 3.6% compared to the second quarter of 2013.

According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI) at the end of June 2014 the number of employees under labour contract has increased by 3.8% as compared to the end of March 2014 and reached 2.30 millions.
In the second quarter of 2014 in comparison with the first quarter of 2014 the average monthly wages and salaries increased by 2.6% getting 817 BGN.

In the first quarter of 2014 in comparison with the fourth quarter of 2013 the average monthly wages and salaries decreased by 3.9% getting 796 BGN.
