Newly built dwellings by number of rooms and by type of settlement, newly built residential buildings by structure of buildings and by type of settlement, useful floor space of the newly built dwellings and by type of settlement, residential buildings, dwellings and useful floor space of the dwellings destroyed.

The survey covers all newly built and destroyed residential buildings and the dwellings in residential buildings.
|Statistical concepts and definitions|
Steel-concrete buildings are those of which the carrier and the floor constructions are built of steel-concrete and the walls are made of panels, brick masonry or other materials.
Solid structures are those of which the carrier walls are of brick and stone masonry and the belts, the beams and the floor construction are made of steel-concrete but have no steelconcrete columns. The buildings of which the floor elements are precast reinforced concrete units also refers to the solid structures.
In the group of "other buildings" are included the structures that are built of stones, sun-dried brick, wood and other materials.
Living floor space is the floor area of living-rooms, bedrooms, recesses for sleeping, diningrooms, the rooms for day-stay, cabinets and libraries of scientists, drawing-rooms and the space ot the kitchens with over 4 sq .m floor space. Until the end of 2018 the kitchen area was presented separately.
Service floor space is the floor area of the rooms and kitchens with less than 4 square meters floor area, vestibules with a portal or an other screen, bathrooms, toilets, larders, hanging closets, other service rooms (drying-rooms, laundries or balconies) not depending on their area.
The useful area of the dwelling is sum of the living-floor space and service floor space.
Until the end of 2018 useful area is sum of living-floor space, kitchen area and service floor space.
The object of the survey are newly built and destroyed residential buildings and the dwellings in residential buildings.
The statistical survey is exhaustive - the newly built and destroyed residential buildings and the dwellings in residential buildings.

Individual data are not published in accordance with article 25 of the Law on Statistics. The publishing of individual data can be performed only in accordance with article 26 of the same law.
Statistical information is published according to the Release Calendar presenting the results of the statistical surveys carried out by the National Statistical Institute. Data for Short-term statistics on residential buildings is published on the NSI website quarterly, forty days after the reference period.
