Statistical concepts and definitions
Waste is a substance, object or part of an article from which the holder is released or intends to dispose of, or is required to dispose of, and falls into at least one of the categories listed in the Waste Management Act.
 
Packaging is all products made of material of any kind used to store, store, transport, deliver and deliver goods from raw materials to processed goods from manufacturer to user or user. Items that are "non-returning" and used for the same purposes are also considered as packaging.
 
Packaging waste is any packaging or packaging material that falls within the scope of the definition of waste
