Statistical presentation |

Data description | The table about the emissions of pollutants in the air contains information from the National Statistical Institute (NSI) and Executive Environmental Agency at the Ministry of Environment and Water. The emissions are estimated by using a calculation method based on the indicators: consumed fuels, calorific value, quantity of produced output and invested raw materials, as well as emission factors applicable for the respective pollutants. |
---|
Classification system | · Nomenclature of sources of emissions; · Nomenclature of fuels; · Nomenclature of treatment facilities and measures to protect the atmosphere. |
---|
Sector coverage | The statistical survey includes enterprises of all economic activities which operation is directly or indirectly linked with the formation of emissions. |
---|
Statistical concepts and definitions | |
---|
Statistical unit | Firms, enterprises, local units, which activity is directly or indirectly connected with the formation of emissions. |
---|
Statistical population | Economic subjects, which composition of activities includes: - processes for energy production (covered by the spent fuels);
- processes for production of other output (covered by the input raw materials, output,
etc.). |
