Processing error | The coding, initial data checking and data entry were carried out at the Regional Statistical Offices (RSO). In predominant number of RSO (smaller ones), the interviewers conducted coding and data entry by themselves under supervision of the responsible expert. In other RSO there were detached experts for coding and/or data entry. The RSO were free to choose the most beneficial way of doing required work. The data tools framework (programme for data entry) was designed with additional controls and filters. There were added also extra checking rules by comparing the entered information between different related questions in order to confront possible inconsistent answers. During the data entry experts from RSOs, who met difficulties or problems contacted experts in Head Office for solutions. Some general decisions or emerged special features were spread to all RSOs as extensions of the methodology. After finishing the work at regional level, the data was checked and validated again in the Head Office. Some mistakes emerged mainly at coding, and were corrected at the database. - In the 2018/2019 academic year in kindergartens are enrolled 218.8 thousand children or with 1.0% less in comparison with the previous year.
- In 2018, high school graduates from general and vocational schools are respectively 26.5 and 23.0 thousand students.
- Enrolled in the varying degrees of higher education in 2018/2019 academic year are 229.5 thousand persons.
- As of 31.12.2018 for acquiring educational and scientific degree ‘Doctor’ in the country are trained 6 467, of which 504 foreign citizens.

- In the 2017/2018 academic year in kindergartens are enrolled 220.9 thousand children or with 1.6% less in comparison with the previous year.

• The number of children in kindergartens for 2014/2015 was 241.1 thousand as an increase of 0.2% is observed in comparison with the previous school year.• In 2014, 27.3 and 26.2 thousand students graduated secondary education in respectively general and vocational schools.• For the 2014/2015 academic year, the number of enrolments in higher education was 279.0 thousand persons, which is a decrease with 1.5% in comparison to the previous year.• Significant increase of the number of Ph.D. students is observed. As of 31.12.2014, 6 671 Ph.D. students were enrolled in the country, or 9.3% more than the previous year. -

- In 2013, 28.9 and 27.4 thousand students graduated secondary education in respectively general and vocational schools.
- For the 2013/2014 academic year, the number of enrollments in higher education remained almost unchanged in comparison with the previous academic year - 277.2 thousand persons as a decrease in the number of students in private universities is registered.
- Significant increase of the number of Ph.D. students is observed. As of 31.12.2013, 6 055 Ph.D. students were enrolled in the country, or 12.7% more than the previous academic year.

• The number of children in kindergartens for 2012/2013 was 235.0 thousand as an increase of 3.1% is observed in comparison with the previous school year.
• In 2012, 30.3 and 29.4 thousand students graduated secondary education in respectively general and vocational schools.
• For the 2012/2013 academic year, the number of enrollments in higher education remained almost unchanged in comparison with the previous academic year - 278.6 thousand persons as a decrease in the number of students in colleges (education-qualification degree "Professional Bachelor") and in private universities is registered.
• Significant increase of the number of Ph.D. students is observed. As of 31.12.2012, 5 371 Ph.D. students were enrolled in the country, or 14.2% more than the previous academic year. -
