The construction of 830 residential buildings with 3 144 dwellings, of 32 administrative buildings/offices and 585 other buildings was started.

According to preliminary data during the second quarter of 2016 in comparison with the same period of 2015 there was a decrease both in transported goods and transport performance from the freight land and water transport - by 14.7% and 6.2%, respectively.
Тhe number of transported passengers by passenger transport (land, water and urban electrical transport) compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year rose by 6.7%. The transport performance also registered a 4.1% growth compared to second quarter of 2015.

According to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute at the end of June 2016 the number of employees under labour contract increased by 3.4% as compared to the end of March 2016 and reached 2.36 million.
In the second quarter of 2016 in comparison with the first quarter of 2016 the average monthly wages and salaries increased by 2.6% getting 946 BGN.

According to preliminary data during the first quarter of 2016 in comparison with the same period of 2015 there was a decrease in the transported goods - by 13.0%, while the transport performance from the freight land and water transport increased by 11.8%.
Compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year the number of transported passengers by passenger transport (land, water and urban electrical transport) rose by 1.1%. The transport performance also registered a 14.3% growth compared to first quarter of 2015.
