• Realizes cooperation with Bodies of Statistics and Bulgarian National Bank in the process of compilation, implementation and reporting on the National Statistical Programme (NSP).

• Organizes, coordinates and exchanges information with NSI departments in the process of statistical activities planning (NSP, List of standard statistical indicators, Calendar of statistical processes, etc.).

• Takes part in the preparation of NSI strategic documents (Strategy for Development of the National Statistical System, NSI Activities Plan, etc.).

• Coordinates and exchanges information with Bodies of Statistics and Bulgarian National Bank in the field of quality management in the National Statistical System (NSS).

• Organizes and coordinates the activities on monitoring the implementation of the European Statistics Code of Practice in the NSS.

• Supports the Chairman of the National Statistical Council and participates in meetings of the National Statistical Council in discussing the strategic documents.

• Coordinates, administrates and supervises the process of applying and implementing contracts and grant agreements with the European Commission and other international institutions and organizations;

• Supports production and dissemination of statistical information through centralized deployment and use of statistical metadata, incl. statistical classifications.

• Participates in European and international activities on implementation, maintenance, use and application of statistical classifications and metadata standards in the statistical production process.
