• Organize and coordinate the cooperation activities with the EU statistical authority (Eurostat);

• Organize and coordinate the international activities, and carry out operational contact with the EU institutions, partner institutions and international organisations;

• Organize and coordinate the work of Working Group 12 “Statistics”; prepare and/or coordinate the exchange of positions and opinions on the European legislation in the field of statistics with the relevant institutions at national level;

• Participate in the meetings of the Council for European Affairs (CEA), prepare and coordinate framework positions within the competence of Working Group 12 “Statistics”;

• Plan, coordinate and supervise activities related to participation of NSI representatives in committees, working group meetings, task forces, seminars, conferences and training courses within the framework of the European Statistical System (ESS);

• Organize and coordinate in-country seminars, international meetings and other forums with international participation;

• Organize the NSI participation in international events (logistics).
