• Performs maintenance of applied systems and software into operation, on development or test mode.

• Implements and oversees security policy including emergency plan for restoring systems’ ability.

• Provides methodological assistance in the area of Information and communication technologies in territorial statistical offices

• Administers centralized databases of information systems of NSI and received data from administrative sources.

• Administers the NSI’s IT Service Desk (Support Center).

• Supports integration of NSI’s information systems with the systems of the State Administration with regard to building up of information society and e-government.

• Performs primary data processing and data analysis from administrative registers and information systems and provides the results to statistical directorates and departments.

• Organises and oversees maintenance and functioning of the National Register of Settlements, the General register of traders and the Unified Classification of Administrative-Territorial and Territorial Units (UCATTU).
