The National Statistical Institute presents to the attention of users having interest in statistical information in the field of social statistics its new electronic publication Housing fund 2008.
The publication Housing fund 2008 contains annual information about residential buildings and dwellings in the Bulgaria. The data are obtained on the basis of results from the Census of dwelling stock as of 1st March, 2001 by accumulation of the number of new constructed dwellings and deduction of the number of destroyed dwellings during the period from 1st March, 2001 to 31st December, 2008.
There are included data by main indicators, such as: residential buildings by construction and period of construction; dwellings by number of rooms, kind of ownership and floor space.
Data are presented by districts and municipalities.
In the publication also are included methodological notes, analysis and information on changes of administrative structure in 2008.
The publication is available on CD-ROM and is also published on the NSI website.
