Goods and Passengers Carried and Transport Performance by Mode of Transport, Second Quarter 2010

According to preliminary data during the second quarter of 2010 in comparison with the previous three months is observed à decrease for the goods carried, as well for the transport performance by 33.4 and 31.6%. Over the corresponding period of 2009, there is a drop by the freight carriages – by 5.0% for the goods carried and by 27.8% for the transport performance.
During the second quarter of 2010 transported passengers are with 1.8% less than the passengers in the first quarter of the year. In comparison with corresponding period in previous year, there is also decrease with 1.3%. Transport performance in passengerkilometres increased insignificantly in comparison with the second quarter of 2009 by 0.1%, but over the last three months, there is a increase by 8.0%.
