Goods and Passengers Carried and Transport Performance by Mode of Transport in the First Quarter of 2012

According to preliminary data during the first quarter of 2012 in comparison with the same period of 2011 a decline both in the transported goods and in the transport performance was observed.
Compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year the transported passengers rose by 386.2 thousand or by 0.2%. At the same time the transport performance fell by 1.0% which was mainly due to the land and urban electrical transport.
