NSI will consult experts from the State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia in the field of Structural Business Statistics (SBS)
On 8-11 April 2013 experts from BNSI will consult for the second time colleagues from the State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia in the field of Structural Business Statistics. The visit is in the framework of IPA 2011 Multi-Beneficiary Statistical Co-operation Programme.

During the four-day visit Ms Svetoslava Filipovich, Head of SBS Department, and Ms Karmen Iskrova, the State expert in the same department and the National Coordinator for SBS to Eurostat, will acquaint Macedonian experts with the implementation of Regulations of European Parliament and the Council 295/2008, 250/2009, 251/2009 regarding Structural Business Statistics. The presentations will focus on definitions of the SBS indicators and their adaptation to the national legislation and statistical tools for their calculation based on the annual reports of non-financial enterprises.

The Bulgarian experts will present the project “Single Entry Point” implemented by the BNSI and the National Revenue Agency, based on the on-line Information System “Business Statistics”, which is a main tool for collecting the annual reports and calculating the SBS indicators, and works successfully from 2008.
