The project “Implementation of International Standard Classification of Education 2011 (ISCED 2011)” is carried out in accordance with the Grant agreement with the European Commission № 10301.2012.001-2012.504 and aims the implementation in Bulgaria of the revised International Standard Classification of Education, adopted in November 2011 by UNESCO Member States. The objective is to provide better international comparability of national education systems on the basis of universal conceptions and more detailed coverage of the educational attainment. The project includes implementation of the following activities:

1. ISCED 2011 mapping;

2. Building a statistical capacity (adopting the national production system);

3. Implementation at national level of ISCED 2011 in all social surveys.

The duration of the project is 18 months and it will be completed in April 2014.
