Delegation of the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, lead by its Head Mr. Isa Krasniqi, is on a two-day visit, 26 and 27 April 2012, to the National Statistical Institute. The main purpose of the visit is to study the NSI’s experience in the preparation and conduction of the population and housing census in 2011.

During the visit, phases and activities of Census 2011 in Bulgaria will be presented and discussed – methodology and instrumentarium, preparation and organisation of the census process, pilot census, “Demography” Information Systems, eCensus and results. Special attention will be given to the census information campaign – awareness and PR campaign, national and regional partnerships, training and media partnerships.

The members of the delegation of Kosovo Agency of Statistics will meet with the President of NSI Mrs. Reneta Indjova, PhD, to discuss future cooperation activities between the national statistical offices of Bulgaria and Kosovo.
