The President of NSI – Assoc. Prof. Mariana Kotzeva will take part in the Eurostat Sponsorship on Communication Meeting, to be held on 13th September 2010 in Madrid.

The Sponsorship Group consists of the heads of the statistical offices of Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Spain, France, Great Britain, Germany, Lithuania, Sweden, Romania and Switzerland.

The meeting agenda envisages a wide range of items for discussion, related to the forthcoming World Day of Statistics, the role of social media in dissemination of statistical information, selection of ESS logo, etc.

Assoc. Prof. Mariana Kotzeva is the head of the common project of Bulgaria, Romania and Lithuania on “Focused websites”.
