The European Statistical System training course has started

The European Statistical System training course has started  
The Deputy President of the National Statistical Institute Mrs. Gergana Mihaylova welcomed the participants wishing them beneficial outcome of the training course on the European Statistical System. The course is organized within the framework of 2006 Multi-beneficiary Phare Programme for Statistical Cooperation together with Statistics Denmark as a course provider. The period of its implementation is 1-3 June 2010.

During the last years, courses on this topic were included in the European Statistical Training Programme (ESTP) and one of the main lecturers was Mr. Kim Voldby Pedersen from Statistics Denmark. Mr. Pedersen, together with his colleague Ms Jannie Eriksen, is leading the ongoing course.

Besides NSI staff, representatives of Bodies of Statistics and the Bulgarian National Bank are taking part in the training course.
