    The consumer price index (CPI) in April 2012 compared to March 2012 was 100.2%, i.e. the monthly inflation was 0.2%.

    Seasonally adjusted flash estimated GDP data in the first quarter of 2012 increased by 0.5% compared with the same quarter of 2011.

  • 58.7% Employment rate in the fourth quarter of 2011
    In the fourth quarter of 2011 the employment rate for population aged 15 - 64 was 58.7%, by 0.3 percentage points lower compared to the same quarter of 2010.

  • 11.4% Unemployment rate in the fourth quarter of 2011
    In the fourth quarter of 2011 the unemployment rate was 11.4% and compared to the respective quarter of 2010 went up by 0.2 percentage points.

  • 3.9% growth of the retail trade in March 2012
    By preliminary seasonally adjusted data the turnover in division ‘Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles’ at constant prices in March 2012 increased by 3.9% in comparison to the previous month. The working day adjusted turnover declined by 1.8% as compared with the same month of the previous year.

  • 101.0% seasonally adjusted Index of Industrial Production in March 2012
    The Seasonally adjusted Industrial Production Index in March 2012 is 101.0% as compared to the previous month, namely the production increased by 1.0%.

  • 100.8% Total Producer Price Index in March 2012
    Total Producer Price Index in March 2012 increased by 0.8% compared to the previous month, compared to the same month of 2011 the prices rose by 3.4%.

  • 101.8% seasonally adjusted Index Construction Production in March 2012
    The seasonally adjusted Construction Production Index in March 2012 was 101.8% and an increase was by 1.8% compared to the previous month.
