The library of the National Statistical Institute of Bulgaria (BNSI) has the pleasure to inform the users of statistical information about the opportunity of on–line access to “Population Census 1881” and “Population Census 1885”.

The library of NSI published on Internet 2306 digital pages. The editions contain statistical data about population by age, marriage status, profession and nationality by regions and settlements in Kingdom of Bulgaria and Eastern Roumelia. They provide also information about mother tongue and religion of the population.

The first population census in 1881 is in Bulgarian and French.
